Audrianna needs additional surgery tommorow we need prayers
So Audrianna had to get an xray yesterday to prep for her surgery tommorow. They made her drink barium which if u have never seen it looks like white liquid chalk. And they watched it go down her esophogus and into her stomach ect. She had never had this done before so it was a last minute thing. Well The surgeon called us because I had called him first since Audrianna had a few seizures today and I had to pick her up from the school. Shes still getting surgery tommorow but he wanted to let me know the results from the ph probe and then the xray yesterday. Her Ph probe was fine she has no problems there so she wont need the nissan fundoplication. But when she had the swallow study done I think its a gastric emptying test. A normal duodenum is shaped like a c audriannas duodenum shaped like an n so she will need surgery to have this fixed tommorow when she gets her feeding tube surgery. He talked pretty quickly on the phone and said we would talk more about it tommorow but she has to get it done cause it can be a health risk if she doesnt and she gets the feeding tube done without it. He did say it would explain why audrianna doesnt have a big appetite unfortunatly she will still need the feeding tube. I'm now waiting for the neurologist to call back about her seizures today and we talked to her dr in boston he said teh seizures today and the fever she had teh day before yesterday could be related to the botox and just to keep and eye on her. Shes doing ok. Her surgery tho wil be 2 hrs instead of 1 tommorow
