So I had bought a few books awhile back from Barnes and Noble online. I wanted to read books not about Cerebral Palsy and what it is but about people living with the Cerebral Palsy Originally I went to the nearest Barnes and Nobel all they had ws 4 books that had to do with Cerebral Palsy only 4 books. I did get to kids books one called Nathans Wish, and one called Rolling along with Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Both awesome books for kids. But I didnt find what I was looking for I did buy both books. So I went online where I ordered anothe book for kids about CP its called ceana has CP I definatly reccomend this to anyone. I have read it to Audrianna numerous times. Then I came across Mitchells Story, I ordered the book disability is natural so far its a good book I am still reading that one, And I am a big fan of poetry and I came across a book called you look pretty by Leanne Nelson Dahl heres the description from the book
Book Description
Through poetry, LeAnne expresses her innermost feelings of what it's like to live with cerebral palsy. You will be drawn into her world as she struggles to find the key that opens the door to discovering a path of independence. Her parents' love and belief in her helped to create a woman with a strong will that brought her through many tough times. You'll laugh and cry as you read of LeAnne's tenacious spirit. It is her strong unwavering faith in God that keeps her going when her days seem dark.
I have to be honest the book made me cry but out of it I have two of my favorite poems one which makes me feel a tad bit better and one which reminds me of Audrianna.
But you will have to read the book.
