update on procedure

we arrived at the franciscian childrens hospital at 8am yesterday waited for quite some time. Then I think around 830pm we were called from the waiting room did the norm talking to her dr, the anesthesaiologist, nurses and what not. She went in for the procedure at 9am her dad went in with her till she fell asleep. Then he came out and we waited in the waiting 9:30am comes around and the nurse coems into the waiting room audrianna was in recovery waking up. Yep a 30 minute procedure thought it was gonna be an hr. Anyways we go into recovery audrianna of course just like every time she wakes up from anesthesia or in an unfamilar place shes freaking out crying real bad. So i walk over give her lots of kisses and then her favorite pooh snuggy and her bink bink she calms down a lil. The nurse asks me if i want to hold Audrianna of course I do. She has a warm pack wrapped around her foot because shes bruised and swollen where there injected the pain meds. And she has an ice pack behind both knees where the nerve block injections were given. Audrianna woke up We filed out discharge papers and we were sent on our way. Shes not allowed to have any extensive stretching for 3 days but thats fine we are on vacation til monday so its just monday she can't have physical therapy. She is allowed to wear her braces and crawl around. We had errands to run so We didnt get home til 2 or 3pm yesterday Then I had audrianna relax a lil on the couch she started to watch fly me to the moon Since i picked her up some kids dvd's yesterday. She got halfway through it then she wanted to get down off the couch and play. She was laughing and giggling and crawling around. She is on motrin 3 x's a day tho so im sure that made her feel better. Today she woke up her legs hurt hjer a lil bit so she had her morning dose of meds along with her motrin. Shes been fine ever since. of course I still worry cause Audrianna did great with the botox and then on day 7 when the botox kicked in things went downhill extremly fast. And the nerve block takes 7 days to completly kick in.
