Wean Green Cubes Review And Giveaway 11/30 CLOSED

baby food oh baby food how I am so cautious of the ingredients in my childrens foods.  Because of Audriannas allergies in the past and now the possibility of charlee having a few allergies herself I have always been cautious of what foods I feed Audrianna or even what things are allowed in our home.  Audrianna's egg allergy has finally been taken off her record but before there were so many many foods with Eggs as an ingredient.  and even some things have seafood in them did you know worchester sauce and cesar salad dressing both have fish in them? and artificial coloring has egg in it so does some brands of marshmallows and also ovaltine and even some ice creams.   These are things I didnt evenr notice till I had a reason to start reading ingredients on labels.  also goes along with breastfeeding when you already have a child with allergies you should watch what you eat when and if you plan to nurse your next child.  I didn't think of that the day I ate crab rangoons and also gave charlee milk based formula because it was what we had in teh cabinet at the time the formula that is.  It didn't dawn on me that since Stephen and Audrianna are both allergic to seafood theres probably a good chance that charlee will be also.  or that since Audrianna was lactose intolerant for her forst 2 years of life charlee might also be.  the end result of that ended up being charlee having a pretty  nasty looking rash around her face and a trip to the drs.  She ended up being ok but theres to be no seafood in this house now.
So because of all this I decided I would much rather make charlees baby food when the time comes that way I know what exactly is in the food she eats,  not to mention that it will save us some money too.   I was given the chance to review the Wean Green Cubes which are pretty neat and come  with 4 different colored lids
Wean Green is a Canadian company dedicated to providing parents with safe and environmental baby products that fit into every parent's diaper bag.

We love researching environmentally friendly, modern, and unique baby products. We also love it when our diaper bags match our shoes! With this in mind, we created a company devoted to combining eco and chic in all of our products. Our eco-chic designs make it possible for parents to choose environmental products without sacrificing style.

Wean Green grows with your baby, too. Our Wean Cubes were designed with many secondary uses, including keeping cereal from spilling all over your purse!

Our goal is to ensure that your eco-footprint does not grow faster than your baby's sweet little feet. The Wean Green team continues to design products that will meet the expectations of our weaners and their proud parents.

I absolutly love them I tried out my testing skills on making some baby food even tho charlee wont be eatting baby food for a few months,  so I decided to make up some  sweet potatoes which was part of our dinner anyway I just put a little aside for the baby without flavoring ect and made it thinner.

you can also freeze breastmilk in them :).

Wean Green was founded in 2008 by Melissa Gunning, the proud mom of two little weaners, Rayne and Talia. Melissa has combined her passion for healthy living and happy babies, and channeled it into Wean Green. Her creativity and enthusiasm radiate through every aspect of the business, and she is proud to be the hard-working mom behind Wean Green.

Melissa was generous enough to offer on lucky fan there own wean green 4 piece set

Which part of the brain is affected by cerebral palsy? And does cerebral palsy progress (get worse or better) as the child grows up? I don't recall if you have answered these questions already, so if they don't count that's ok.

Recipe from wholesomebabyfoods
Banana Applesauce Mush

Ingredients:

2 apples (gala, braeburn or mac)

1 ripe banana

Directions:

1. Peel, core and cut apples into slices/chunks.
2. Place slices or chunks into a pan with just enough water to slightly cover apples
3. Boil until tender; be sure to check on the water level.
Apples may be mashed with a potato masher to achieve a smooth applesauce consistency or you can puree in a blender or food processor.
4. Peel a ripe banana and mash in a bowl with a fork (heating in the microwave for approximately 20 seconds will soften the banana up if needed).
Add applesauce to the banana and sprinkle with wheat germ* or crushed cheerios*
Puree if necessary but mashing with a potato masher will typically get this mix smooth
*8months+
